Have the best slime party at The Slime Factory!
Our prices start at $30 per child and varies by quantity of kids and date as we have a special discounted rate for weekdays.

Our birthday party includes one full experience ticket per child and a reserved area at our store for your guests.
You can bring food, drinks, favors and decoration. No alcoholic drinks allowed. Party duration is 2 hours and you can arrive up to 30 minutes earlier to decorate.

Minimum of 5 children required. $2 clean up fee per child. Adults don’t need tickets to accompany children, unless they want to make slime as well.

Very important: this reservation is non refundable. In the case the party is cancelled, we will send you a gift card valid for ticket and birthday bookings and for use online only at this location. Minimum of 72 hours notice required for date/time changes or cancellations.

Description

How do our parties work?

When you book a party at our location, you will have a private area at the store for your guests. In the area you will have seating for the kids and the adults, and you will be able to setup your decorations, bring in food, drinks, and favors. Your group’s slime class will also be private.

The agenda:



• The party duration is 2 hours.

• First 30 minutes: during this time we recommend you have snacks and drinks while your guests arrive. Prior to engaging in slime making, as the kids hands and tables will be clean and slime free.


• After the first 30 minutes: once your group is complete, we will start the class which takes about 20-30 minutes. Since we do group classes, we recommend you insist on punctuality among your guests as we might be unable to start the class past that time due to other birthday bookings.


• After the first hour: the kids will have finished making and decorating their slimes and they will go back to the birthday area to mix their slimes and play. Our team members will hand them their customized certificates as they will now be considered professional slimers! And they will be invited to add some of their slime in our super cool slime wall.


• Last 30 minutes: at this time you can sing happy birthday and cut the cake (you can let one of our team members know and they will play happy birthday in our speakers).


• The end: once all the kids finish eating their cake, we will bring them to our Slime Pool, where they will have a sensory experience with our green gooey slime. This is the final activity where they have to wear gloves that our staff will supply as well as their lab coats. Once they are done, lab coats will be collected, and your party will be officially over.


We charge per child, there’s a minimum of 5 and maximum of 25 children for our Menlo Park location. If you need to book for more than 25 kids, please email us at menlopark@theslimfactory.com as additional preparation and confirmation is required.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Food and drinks:
You are welcome to bring food and drinks to the area. Due to the nature of the space and the activities we recommend finger food and bottled drinks.

We will provide a table where you can setup your food, drinks and cake. However you are responsible for bringing in all your disposables (napkings, plates, etc), and your own ice/cooler if required.

There’s a wide variety of food available at the mall’s foodcourt, which is close to the store. Chick-fil-A for example is one of them, and has party/package trays. Clic here to see mall’s dining options.

Cake:
We recommend you bring cupcakes instead of cake. Especially as some kids will not want to stop playing with their slimes and that way they can take it to go or on their way out at the end of the party.

Bags:
Unfortunately due to the plastic bags ban we do not provide bags for our customers. It’s a good idea to bring in bags so your guests can take their slimes, certificates and favors more comfortably.

Punctuality:
Please make sure you communicate to your guests the importance of arriving on time. If a child arrives after the slime making session we will have to add them to one of the regular classes. We do not have staff available to do a second class or do a slime with the guests who arrive late.
