What is The Slime Factory?
The Slime Factory is the home for the trendy and famous Slime. In this super fun lab children become scientists wearing lab coats and protective glasses while making different Maddie Rae’s Slime Recipes. Aspiring slimers will have a blast decorating their gooey creations at the topping station with a wide selection of Maddie Rae’s charms and accessories. The witty space also offer slime lovers the opportunity to immerse in a sensorial experience with their Gooey Slime Pool and features a Photo booth and plenty of Instagram photo opportunities for children and families. At the end of the experience each children will receive a certificate.
Do I need to book in advance?
We have a limited availability, so we recommend you to book in advance in order to avoid queues at the door and ensure availability at the desired time and date.
How long is the experience?
Full Experience is about 45 minutes to an hour long, depending on the size of the group class and your child’s playing time at the Slime Pool and lounge area.
Express Experience is about 20 to 35 minutes long, depending on the size of the group class and your child’s playing time at the Slime Pool and lounge area.
Your admission is valid for up to 90 minutes. You won’t be required to leave after the 90 minutes, unless we are running at full capacity.
What is the age restriction?
Our full and express experiences are meant for children 4 years and up. For younger siblings we recommend you buy a visitor pass so they can be admitted to the space, wear a lab coat, have a photo booth picture and enjoy playing at the Slime Pool.
Are restrooms available?
We are sorry, but we do not have public restrooms available at The Slime Factory. Please if possible try to make a quick stop in the bathroom with your children before your time slot. If required you may use the mall’s restrooms and re-entry will be permitted without issues.
How early do I need to arrive?
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your booked time to avoid risk of missing your group class. You will have to be checked in at the entrance and there might be a queue. You will not be admitted if you arrive more than 5 minutes after class starts to avoid disruption to other members and to the instructor. If you miss your group, you will be added to the next group available.
Do you offer the class in other languages?
Our classes are dictated in english, but we have some Spanish speaking employees who might be able to translate if necessary, please feel free to ask at the front desk. However, we can’t guarantee availability.
Is it safe for the children?
We do not use borax powder in any of our slime recipes. We use school and non hazardous household ingredients. Although our ingredients are not hazardous, they might cause allergic reactions. If your child has sensitive skin, allergies, or asthma, we do not recommend this activity. We also do not recommend it if the child has any cuts or open wounds. We do provide protective gear: lab coats, protective glasses, and gloves. And we also have emergency eye wash and first aid kit available.
Can we take the slime home?
Of course! Containers will be provided so the children can take their creations home. In an airtight container slime will last for weeks.
How much is parking?
Good News! Parking is free at: The Falls Shopping Center, The Florida Mall, and Menlo Park Mall!
Can my children visit The Slime Factory without me?
We suggest that visitors 13 and younger be accompanied by an adult.
